Mr Ice Hits the Press with ground breaking news:
During the crazy festive period of 2012-2013 there was only one man left standing with ice. Classic Ice and Mr Ice, Both franchises of Mr Vinoth & Keveshan Naidoo, did reasonably well during one of their busiest Festive Seasons.

It's A Family Affair:
Vinoth Naidoo, who was the man who started it all way back in 1993.
He needed to find something to do in his spare time,
something to help him chill out. These days Classic Ice
has grown to be Durban's largest manufacturer of ice,
thanks to the hard work of the Naidoo family.
The business is still family owned to this day,
and we're all very proud to make the finest quality ice.
We don't deliver ice with a trailer and packaged in the garage anymore though,
it's made right here in good old Hillary using super modern,
state of the art purification and production techniques.
The Story behind the Ice: Engaging into marriage with Rajendri led me to being friends with Mickey and Vijay who owned G’Liquor store in Westcliff.I use to help out in the store. When my sister Prem and Vasu who lived in the outbuilding of mum moved to their newly built house in Westcliff. I purchased a small AF 30 Scotsman crushed ice machine from Mickey for R6000.00 which I used the to start a small ice business from mums outbuilding. I loaned R10 000.00 from Deshika and Keveshan from their savings as I had no money. Rajendri was initially reluctant to touch the childrens cash.Her question was “who will buy ice”.I told her we would not know if we do not try.I paid Mickey R6000.00 for his machine and bought two Kelvinator chest freezers for R2000.00 each. We started the business calling it Arctic Ice.
